this game seems to be the only one in my library that has an issue related to GoTY and Deluxe being marked as the same game by Steam.

Yes, to my knowledge my MOBO (its a custom rig) is up to date on drivers and BIOS, and i have not had this issue with any other game save for this one.

This game seem to have same issue after install and master dlc seem to be incode as loaded, do check content anyway after install or mod'd added. The DLC'S is another issue that game launcher ((( go into the Data Files )))

Is it possible you have not update the driver and bios.īrand name pc or custom build then its Brand mortherbpard support page. Well that rule out the cpu you have 4ghz and that gfx card should be ok. only old game requirement even worth mentions is 2ghz rest is so old you cant buy pc with such hardware anymore.Ĭould this really be the issue? My PC isn't really the newest around (my processor is a AMD FX 8350, and my graphics card is a Evga Nvidia 970 SC), and besides the DLC not showing up, I have had no other issues with the game in the past. most have past game requirements, then this was release so many years ago. I am also hoping that people like me and OP can get a straightforward answer on what exactly is happening here, because i do not want to buy a product key if i don't have to, especially since most key resellers also list their Deluxe keys as just GoTY in all pictures accompanying the product info on their pages, and i don't want to drop even more money on a game i am supposed to own in its entirety at this point. I'm mostly posting here to follow, like mentioned in the beginning. Many people from other threads seem to say that people in this situation have to buy the deluxe DLC as a product key from a third party, since once GoTY is installed on Steam, it automatically states on the product page that i already own both GoTY and Deluxe, even though that is apparently not the case according to game files, thus it wont let me buy it "again" and properly add it to my library. I guess because of how long ago i purchased the game, i cannot find the email receipt for this game, nor can i find it in my purchase history (i know i bought this game directly through steam, i didn't use a product key).Ĥ. When i go into the Data Files Screen of the home page, it only lists the Shivering Isles and Knights of The Nine.ģ. I have installed GoTY, but my library screen makes no mention of deluxe (even though the consensus is that GoTY and deluxe are considered the same thing in terms of what you should have, and the fact that once you purchase GoTY, Steam also states it adds Deluxe to your library as well).Ģ. to help add more context into my situation (and possibly OPs as well) here is what i already know and can say about when i try to locate/ activate these files:ġ.
